Week 29: May 23rd & 25th- Our last week before the summer break

- We practised intonation and structures from the booklet.
- We practised rising and falling intonation.
- We prepared and delivered a presentation on Shopping.
- We saw Joey speaking French.

Week 27: May 9th & 11th- Revising and presenting information

- We did a speaking quizz with Impersonal Reporting Structures and amazing facts.

Week 26: May 4th- Results of our survey

Week 25: April 25th & 27th- Celebrating Shakespeare

- We watched the film Much Ado About Nothing.
- We did and corrected the quizz about the film.
- We shared opinions about the film.
- We started 8A: Finding time. We saw phrases with the word "time" and read about a writer compromised with the climate change.
- We sang a song from the film, written by Shakespeare: Sigh no More

Homework:
- Ex.7 page 85: pick up two or three questions and do a little survey among two or three friends or family to use in the warming up the next day.

Week 24: April 18th & 20th- Preparing Cervantes & Shakespeare's celebration

- We saw how to use impersonal report structures.
- We did a listening about state intervention on page 72.
- We practised impersonal structures with parts of real newspapers.
- We did 8C The pros and cons.

Homework:
-Describe the news on your newspapers using impersonal report structures.
- Exercises 7 and 8 page 72.
- Choose two questions from exercise 7 on page 85 and ask them to some of your friends, just a few. Take notes.
- Do a little research about the aspect of Much Ado About Nothing that your group is working on. If you didn't come on Wednesday and you don't know what we're talking about, then read a little bit about the celebrations in Britain to commemorate the 400th anniversary of his death. You'll be telling a group of classmates on Monday.
- Have a look at Much Ado About Nothing, we'll be watching it on Monday!
