- We corrected exercises on rather used as a verb.

We had a fire drill!!!
- We practised a conversation after having searched for the language we wanted to use.

Week 29: 11th & 13th May- Scotland

- We listened to a talk on Scotland delivered by Robert from Oxford University Press.

- We had a listening on gender difference and practised emphasizing with auxiliaries.
- We did the writing of a story in class.

Week 28: 4th & 6th May- How practical are you?

- We practised regrets and wishes in oral warm-ups.
- We corrected reading: Who wants to be rich?
- We started 10A: How practical are you?
- We saw vocabulary on household jobs.
- We saw the meaning and structure of: get/have something done/ get someone to do somerthing for you/ do it yourself.

Homework: ex.1 and 2 page 84 and photocopy on present continuous with future meaning.

Week 27: 27th & 29th April- Elvis Presley regretting!!

- We saw how to avoid repeating words and phrases with synonyms.
- We contrasted British and American accents.
- We read and wrote our own interpretation of Sonnet 15 by Shakespeare.
- We practised different ways to apologise in 8D: I didn't realise
- We practised reported speech with the activity Computer helpline. Check the suggested answer.
- We listened to Elvis Presley's Always on my mind and did a gap filling exercise. We also made the regrets the song talks about.
