Week 14: 19th & 21st January - Full into narrating stories

- We revised verb tenses related to narrating.
- We told each other two new urban legends.
- We saw the parts of the film Kangaroo Jack related to our urban legend.
- We did a listening exercise on the narrating of an annecdote on page 37 and learnt about how to mark or predict what we are saying next.
- We reviewed and got feedback on the recordings you had sent on the film.
- We learnt vocabulary and expressions to exaggerate and to show surprise or lack of it.
Homework: - Prepare a story to tell, do ex.7 page 39 using exaggerations.
- Do Reading and writing portfolio 4 from the workbook: the writing of a biography.

Week 13: 12th & 14th January- Started narrating stories.

- We wrote about positive aspects of 2014 and we made resolutions for 2015.
- We revised passive structures in 9A: The silver screen.
- We learnt phrasal verbs from ex.1 page 32, to be used in the narration of urban legands.
- We completed a gapped exercise on the lyrics of Out of Reach, from the original soundtrack of Bridget Jones's Diary and sang.

Week 12: 9th January 2015- New Year Resolutions
