- We warmed up by telling lucky moments.
- We checked whether we were optimistic or pessimistic and read about optimism in human beings.
- We revised adjectives describing attitude and listened about chances to talk about future probability.
- We practised future probability in a speaking activity.
- We revised the grammar of modal verbs and had a look at the photocopy.
- We saw the importance of minimal pairs in the video ad We're sinking.

- Reading page 60, ex. 2a and 2c.

Week 13: January 15th&17th- Life Lessons

- We warmed up remembering the details of the two stories of lottery winers that we read about.

- We learnt and revised about used to and would.

- We did a listening about the importance of money regarding happiness.

- We corrected unit 10 of the photocopy on the present perfect.

- We did a writing in class about the H&M Christmas ad.

- We revised habitual actions in the past.

- We did the NPR listening and the tasks designed by all the students.

- We did the vocabulary on cause and result and the listening on page 46.

Week 3: October 23rd & 25th- Beginning of Halloween week!!

- We warmed up with character adjectives and ways to break off a conversation.
- We practised question formation.
- We did Everyday English on pages 14 and 15 and saw how to break off a conversation, rapid speech and explaining and checking information.
- We saw the organisation of an article on pages 16 and 17.

- We revised Trying and succeeding vocabulary.
- We did the listening on technological devices on page 16.
- We saw and described two Halloween videos to our classmates. Kit Kat and Lux.
- We did a short diagnostic writing.
- We completed the verbs of the gapped lyrics of Rocket Man by Elton John.
- We have started learning Da Da language in our second round of reduced groups.
