Week 11: December 18th&20th- Last class of the year and Christmas party!

Week 10: December 13th- 3B: Born to be the best

- We warmed up by telling your teacher what you had done instead of coming to English class on December 11th, when your teacher could not come.
- We practised making careful suggestions on page 39.
- We did a reading and a listening on The Sport Gene, on pages 35 and 36.
- We practised present perfect simple and continuous.
- We sang our Christmas carol. Holy Jolly Christmas.

Week 9: December 4th- Everyday English

- We warmed up by giving a little presentation on an activity you have put a lot of effort into.
- We did pages 38 and 39: Everyday English.
- We practiced how to keep the topic of a conversation, consonant sounds and making careful suggestions.

Homework:
- Exercise 2 page 36.
- Vocabulary exercises on page 156. We'll do the pronunciation together in class.
- We didn't have time to see the Christmas carol together, but here it is if you want to have a look: Holy Jolly Christmas.

Week 8: November 27th & 29th- Starting Unit 3: Talent

- We exchanged information about the endangered animals we have read about.
- We started unit 3: Talent.
- We read  and did a listening on Learning to Learn.
- We saw vocabulary about ability and achievement and a listening about learning experiences.
- We did two pages on formal and informal letters or emails to prepare our letter to the minister.
-  We learnt about multi word verbs and practised a little.

Homework:
- Page 35.
- Write an email to the minister of the country of your choice in order to deal with the problems your species is facing.
- Send a five-second video on something beautiful.
